The second in the Skyline series, the R34 is an all time favourite! The kit was bought as soon as it was released, but a paint reaction problem meant the body had to be re-done. The problem was traced to the primer being a wrong choice, a true plastic primer was needed for the Lesanol Nissan Intense Blue basecoat, a very volatile 2 pack paint.
I did a lot of research on this car and so fitted it out with some of the goodies I found on the net! These include the bigger brake conversion, lowered suspension painted as per the Nismo items, and a Nismo exhaust system to replace the standard pea shooters! This was built around a Fujimi Apex-i tail pipe and the modified Tamiya item.
The R34 Skyline was import only untl pressure forced Nissan to import a true UK spec car. This was fitted with black leather interior and an extra oil cooler for our longer motorway journeys.
This model is built as per the Japanese specifications however, though I have others in stock and plan to model some of the other versions!
